Who told you that?
Who told you that...
you can't accomplish your dreams,
everything in life would be easy,
you couldn't be great?
Who told you that you were less than you are?
Who told you that...
you couldn't create something to change the world,
your life is any less important because we don't see it on tv,
Who told you that you weren't amazing?
They were wrong!

You are amazing,
You have the solution to a problem in you,
You have greatness in you!!!

Quick Thought of the Day (Attitude Check)
Eyes roll,
Necks roll,
Heads will roll.
If the first two didn't happen,
neither would the last.

Imperfections Perfection
Not perfect,
No illusion of perfection.
My imperfections are made perfect through his perfection.
Striving to live as well as possible,
but stumbles and road blocks,
and flesh testers rise up.
Go off and go in on all of the above.
My imperfections are made perfect through His perfection.
Without Him I am an utter mess,
with Him my life is truly blessed,
to do better that my normal foolishness.
Not perfect,
No illusion of perfection,
But what you see is the perfection of His sprinkled on me.
It is truly freeing when you embrace that fact that you will mess up, you will fail, and sometimes you will act out of character. It's freeing to embrace that you are not perfect. But the goal is to strive to be the best possible you that you can be and for those that believe in God, He can make your attempts successful by you putting your life in His hands. That doesn't mean that you won't still have learning moments in life but they are just that. Take those moments of thoughtless reactions and do better next time. Be a better you each day because you are someone's role model. Whether you know it or not someone is watching you (not in a creepy way lol). You can change someone's life by being the most real, transparent, ultimate version of you.

Open...Closed
Eyes open,
Eyes closed,
Questions of what focus I hold.
Eyes open to what God is showing me,
or closed to everything He has for me.
Open to errors of my life,
closed in meditation to try to get it right.
Open to right,
closed to wrong,
Is that right?
Correction.
None can occur until you're open to it.
Eyes open to wrong,
so correction may come through it.
Eyes closed to nothing...
Eyes open.
Eyes closed.
Correction is not a bad thing. Sometimes we take offense because its not always done in love but it doesn't change the fact that the behavior needs to change. A lot of times you can't see it until someone else points it out to you. Gotta be open and teachable to learn to do things better or just do them differently to get a better result. Don't be blind or close your eyes to change that needs to occur in life. Whether its your life or anothers, we must handle with care but be real at the same time. The balance of brutle honesty and with a kindness of love. You also have to know who you are talking to as well because some people you just have to give it to them one way or the other.

Distraught,
In a state of chaos.
I'm engulfed by crazy thoughts.
Uncertainty,
Loud,

Louder.
I'm so busy trying to figure it out...
That I drown You out.
I can't hear you with all the rabble around.

I'm in it but not consumed by it.

Guide Through the Fog
A cloud washes over me
and its now hard to see
zero visibility
obscure clarity
this is the road of travel for me
once clear vision but now hard to see
"Sometimes I feel like I am so off my life's path and I can't see which direction I am suppose to be going. I think its important for us to be purpose lead and vision driven in life. Its important to live on purpose and not just wonder aimlessly through life. Having a connection to God is what holds that focus for me. Purpose driven for sure with the greatest guide of life."
Proverbs 29:18 "Where there is no vision [no redemptive revelation of God], the people perish; but he who keeps the law [of God, which includes that of man]--blessed (happy, fortunate, and envisable) is he."

But whoever obeys the law is joyful.
