Open...Closed

Eyes open,
Eyes closed,
Questions of what focus I hold.
Eyes open to what God is showing me,
or closed to everything He has for me.
Open to errors of my life,
closed in meditation to try to get it right.
Open to right,
closed to wrong,
Is that right?
Correction.
None can occur until you're open to it.
Eyes open to wrong,
so correction may come through it.
Eyes closed to nothing...
Eyes open.
Eyes closed.


Correction is not a bad thing. Sometimes we take offense because its not always done in love but it doesn't change the fact that the behavior needs to change. A lot of times you can't see it until someone else points it out to you. Gotta be open and teachable to learn to do things better or just do them differently to get a better result. Don't be blind or close your eyes to change that needs to occur in life. Whether its your life or anothers, we must handle with care but be real at the same time. The balance of brutle honesty and with a kindness of love. You also have to know who you are talking to as well because some people you just have to give it to them one way or the other.
